A Mango Shaped Space was written by wendy mass, The story is about a girl named Mia Winchell. Mia suppose to be the normal child in the family, her brother Zack, own a McDonald chart of how many burgers he ate at his entire life, and her sister Beth, colors her hair every week with different colors. But Mia knows she is far away from being normal. Letters, sound, and numbers, have colors to her. Mia’s ability called synesthesia, which means a mingling of the senses. After problems in school force Mia to reveal her secret,  Mia should learn to accept the beautiful gift.
